This is the stuff democrats are wasting time on. Meanwhile, we are still short 8million bottles worth of formula per day in this country, prices are sky high, and we are days away from finding out we have been in a recession this year.

But yea, gay marriage is what americans are worried about.

bwahahahahahaha, now they are trying to say that even with 2 quarters of negative gdp, that doesnt mean we are in a recession.

The July 28 Announcement Of Q2 GDP Will Not Mean Recession

Summary
The US economy has clearly slowed from its rapid 2021 growth and there are plenty of reasons to fear a recession some time in the next year or two. Even if reported GDP shows two negative quarters in the first half of 2022, the NBER committee is very unlikely to conclude that a recession started in the first quarter. We could have a situation on July 28 where the public and the markets, responding to media headlines, think they have been told that a US recession began in the first half of the year, only to be told the opposite two months later.

That is some #HoodWinkedTaintedTom level of spin right there.

Good. First semi smart thing the Dems have done since the leak of the abortion ruling. They should also put forward a just simple abortion law codifying nationwide access in the cases of rape, incest, and health of the mother, but instead they'd rather hope for national stories regarding one of those issues to score political points. Make the GOP either have to codify these things or publicly vote against super majority positions of the American public.

Draft a bill that on the surface is popular and/or obvious, put a poison pill or several attachments to the bill in order to force your opposition to vote "no" for a bill so that your side can claim whatever the goal you have. This was designed - intentionally - to get no votes on record for campaigning purposes...

Which part of that bill is the "poison pill"?

That's called Federalism.

How would you like the GOP responding in 3 years by banning it on the federal level?
