Is this the first game OOC scheduled between former CUSA mates?

Same. I think a regularly scheduled series in hoops and football would be beneficial to both programs. May take a while for football though due to existing OOC schedules.

Basketball I am sure starts very soon with Marshall. Football will be tougher.

Liberty is scheduled to play Marshall 2024 and 2026. We are losing a lot of games because of joining a conference and realignment, but I am praying week keep the two with Marshall.

Relationship with Marshall must be stronger than with our old SBC mates.

I don't think we've played the Cajuns in anything since we've left. MT vs. Cajuns used to be well-attended by both visiting fans.

We've played Troy in football, but that's about it. Maybe South Alabama in baseball ?
