I knew there was one and was going to add but I couldn't remember which it was. Just that it was one of the new guys. I'll get it fixed.

Forgot to mention in the other thread and I'm not sure if you want to update things like this now or when they're completed, but JMU softball is being expanded to seat 1500. Will be ready for the start of next season.

Post script: ODU’s FB stadium’s capacity (in round numbers) is 22k. There are no current efforts underway that will change this capacity. If frogs had wings they wouldn’t bump their a** every time they jump.

This seems a little silly in that most stadiums should be upgradable when merited.

However - JMU's AD is also recently on record saying Bridgeforth will be expanded to 40k when the demand is demonstrated. The engineering work has been completed, and the blueprint is there. Expansion will occur in two phases, east side grandstands, then bowling in endzone.

Your capacity for the Tigue is off: it is officially set at 6,033, not the 4K you have listed

I agree the “possible/if”s are a rabbit hole not worth going down, but it’s not my project, so whatever.

We’ve had multiple “plans” over the years that never amounted to anything. Last I heard, our next additions would be pie-slice wraparounds in the north end zone and a new press box built above the existing home-side upper deck. I’m not holding my breath for either.

Wow JMU guys, expansion wasn't a problem until now but, I'll change it up a bit before you faint on a couch.

I mean, there are others listed in a similar fashion, and she had put our asterisk in the document before the delete which is only why I mentioned it.

Theres also a difference between upgrades, and a stadium designed to be upgraded in phases.

But go off on something you're completely ignorant about, it shows us a lot

Question for ark state... Really like the end zone expansion - we need something similar in our corners by athletic center.... Really curious about the size of your press box... Holy cow

Texas State will be building a new weight room and doing some upgrades to the south endzone. The weight room will be named for former Bobcat Will Trevillion who died, suddenly, in 2016.

It looks like it will add some viewing from the top of the deck but that's seems negligible.

I wouldn't count on that rendering of the soccer stadium to be anything close to the final product. The south stands are going up and look pretty much complete but they got a loong way to go to look anything like that pic. Could be wrong but I think timing has the scale back version going up.
