But, of course, Big Stadium schools like OSU, Penn State and That School Up North are likely to push back against that proposal.
Also, if it included a roll forward of the partly rolled back rule against scheduling FCS schools, only about half the lost buy games would be at the expense of Go5 schools.
This would also affect the XII's ability to schedule B1G games. Ohio has Iowa St, WVU and Cincinnati scheduled to arrive in Peden.
B1G will probably be looking for 1 P5 series and a G5 opener in its two non-con games.

This was done "in collaboration with ESPN".
I think it's always in collaboration with ESPN. They own our media rights. So when we have games on CBS Sports that's because ESPN is allowing it. If NFL or another network didn't show these games they would just end up on ESPN3/+. Not like ESPN was actually going to televise them on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU.
