What does the new CFP look like?
Let’s assume for a moment that realignment is on pause and everyone is going to stick it out where they are until the ACC GOR expires. What does the next CFP agreement look like?

It would seem that the SEC and Big 10 would be the two loudest voices in the room and that all the others will take a backseat.

The ACC, PAC 10, and Big 12 are going to want autobids. The SEC, Big 10, and ND are going to want ample at large berths.

Now that the Big 10 feels a little more confident with their LA adds, are we likely to just see the 6-6 come back on the table?

RE: What does the new CFP look like?
I think the only voices that matter are the SEC and the Big 10. And after last year's fiasco, I don't think the SEC is in a mood to accommodate the ACC or the PAC.

The Big Ten, however, does have to be accomodated.

So what do the relevant players want? Big Ten wants the Rose Bowl protected. The SEC wants lots of at-large bids. So 8 teams, 2 autobids with byes to the semifinals. #3 and #4 get byes to the second round, on campus at #3 and #4.

So the Rose Bowl is a semifinal every year, hosted by the Big Ten champion at 5 p.m. Eastern on New Years Day. The Sugar Bowl (probably, subject to a bidding process) hosted by the SEC champion is the other semifinal at 8:30 p.m.

First round is the second or third Saturday in December. Two games at neutral sites, winners advance to the second round to play #3 and #4

Third or fourth Saturday in December, on campus at #3 and #4. Winners advance to the semifinals on New Years Day.

Rankings are by the old BCS formula. Maybe the CFP Committee has the authority to rearrange the #5-8 seeds to try to limit rematches.

Money? I'm thinking that you take the Sagarin or BCS or whatever rankings, 1-133 or so. #1 gets 133 shares, #133 gets 1 share. Add em up, that's the conference revenue split. I haven't done the math on this yet.

RE: What does the new CFP look like?
I'd imagine both B1G and SEC walk away from the CFP and play each other in the form of the old bowl system.
B1G and SEC run their own playoffs internally and champs meet at Rose or Sugar (or alternate yearly) and B1G & SEC 2nd place teams meet each othere Sugar or Rose. Cotton and Fiesta bowls can be throw in the mix as well.

It'll be a de facto national championship game no matter how it's gonna be called.

Yes the CFP brings in so much money. A 12-team format would include the six highest-ranked conference champions (P5 and Highest Ranked G5 team) and the next six highest-ranked teams as determined by the CFP selection committee. There would be no limit on the number of participants from a conference, and no league would qualify automatically. I can see a huge bidding war for this between ESPN/FOX/CBS/NBC, maybe 1B for those rights!
