He didn't graduate from App so he technically isn't an alumnus, Luke Combs attended App and got his start there playing local clubs. He is a huge Mountaineer fan, attends many games and is involved in a lot of postgame locker room celebrations. His concert at KBS last year was the biggest event ever in Boone. He is financially invested in the school & athletics program.

I think you're an alumnus even if you dont graduate. Just have to attend.
