There is not a lot of love toward my Eagles from C-USA as we all out the door. But we are hosting a Super (ticket prices broke $1,000 tonight online) with C-USA on our sleeves. Do you pull for the Eagles to have another CWS appearance and national championship fight for a conference member, or rather not have a rep in Omaha if it means USM looses?

I hope USM wins it all.

I'm gonna pull for USM solely because of the following:
1. They are still a member of CUSA
2. They are not part of the Cartel-5 (and never will be)

On the other hand like many of you; I don't think I'm gonna miss the bloviated whiners that have spent so much time telling us how Southern Miss has been screwed over by everybody over the years, and how unappreciated they have been by CUSA 2.0 and 3.0, and how much better they think the Sun Belt is than CUSA. I root for USM when they play the two Mississippi SEC schools in anything.

There is one school with a C-USA patch on their jerseys playing in the Supers. That school played a C-USA regular season schedule, won it, and represented C-USA as a regional tournament host and won.

Of course I want to see USM do well in the Super and advance to Omaha, as you are our C-USA representative.
