Well, our bball team is obviously keeping consistency going today against Bama, down by 17 with 2 and a half remaining.

Anyway, the good news is the baseballers are up 8-3 in the bottom of the 5th inning.
Didn't make the game today, unfortunately, the boss :girl: made me stay home. :frown:

Wait....basketball season is still going?

The diamond boys are getting rolling. After winning 5-1 yesterday, Bianco was still not happy with our consistency on offense. We didn't get anything going in the beginning, but we gradually started making aggressive plays to score runs. Some early losses may have just been what we need.

Well, they're looking better and better all the time. I ws there on Saturday and they played a solid defensive and pitching game, with exception of one error by Matt Tolbert that you really can't fault him for. What happened was, when he went to field the ball, it bounced off his glove into shallow left center, well he took off after the ball and Sterbens went to second to cover, and Tolbert was inches from making the play anyway. Great hustle on Matt's part, and it was scored a hit and an error for the double.

Bianco wasn't happy with the offensive production, which I like to see. Yes, we won 5-1, but he wants more consistency. I think he's got them motivated right now though.

Me too Still. Last year was one of the most painful times I've ever been through from the standpoint of a sports fan. This is my tenth season as an Ole Miss Baseball fan, and last year, we had more momentum coming into the home stretch than we had ever had, and simply lost it. Now though, we're really starting to get into Bianco's recruits, and he has had nothing but quality recruiting classes.

I really don't think I could handle last season again though.
