Has anyone thought about putting the expansion threads back on the main CUSA board? I feel the majority of moves are over and the discussion gets lost over there.

It seemed like it was outgoing teams mods that made the moves so that’s why I’m bringing it up.

What's wrong with where they are?

Honestly, for now at least, I'd rather keep them separate.

As a fan of a future member, I skim the regular board for news that may impact us, but it seems mostly geared toward current members. (As it should.)

The Realignment Board is frustratingly repetitive at times, but I read it whenever there are updates, because any realignment moves would directly impact my school.

Once the AAC6 have moved on, then it would probably make sense to merge the two. But as long as the AAC6 are still CUSA members (and for now, they are) let's keep the main board focused on the current/committed conference membership rather than speculation about future moves.

The idea is to keep the main board about CUSA SPORTS. Since conference realignment doesn't involve actively playing a sport, then it's discussed in CUSA Realignment.

Keep realignment off the main boards. If it causes the realignment threads to die, maybe that's a good thing...

I think it was a good decision. This conference board was a total cluster for awhile due to those leaving, those coming, the visitors gloating about the supremacy of their conferences for supposedly raiding us. No other board had the degree of crap being thrown around.

I prefer having it sorted out.

The mods there seemed pretty quick to move a lot of those type threads to OT.

I’m fine with it staying since most seem to prefer it but I thought I’d bring it up since it was only our board and the admins that made that decision were fans of outgoing schools.

Not a big deal but it has the feel of the leaving mod doing a little stab in the back.

The way the board was handled during the whole expansion deal was hard to understand. Felt like the CUSA remaining or new posters were the least important part to the CUSA forum.
