I will soon be putting in for changes to WACbbs. Here's what I have so far:

Change Dixie State to Utah Tech.

Move the UTA Board From SBC to the WAC Board.

Add Incarnate Word Cardinals Board.

Remove Chicago State Board.

Let me know if you guys think of anything else.

Where would the Chicago State board go?

Also, I would wait another “week or two” before you move the UIW board.

I have to PM GTS to have these things done. When I do, it can take some time before it happens. I'll probably make the request after Memorial Day.

I'm not sure where Chicago State will go. The conference's it talked to do have boards here but are inactive. I'm sure GTS will put them somewhere and/or talk to Josh.

UIW doesn't have a board on here, it would have to be created.

What if Independents (FBS) just became Independents and Chicago State’s board got moved there? Only D1 Independent unless Hartford maintains that status this year as part of their transition which I don’t think to be the case

Hartford actually will be a DI independent in most sports this new school year, FWIW.

Guess the board moves aren’t a priority here.

We're here now! It's great to be in a better baseball and basketball conference, plus geographically closer to many of our Texas rivals. If or when UTA finally gets serious about athletics (read football), I'm sure there will be plenty of room for us to grow. The only regret I have is that we will not be visiting San Marcos as often, and that Lamar decided to go back to the Southland (for what- the third time?).

Thanks for that! Our daughter was on the SUU Women's Gymnastic Team, when they first went big time and moved into the "Centrum," so it's interesting to me that UTA is in the same conference with the Tbirds. It's a really beautiful campus, so we look forward to visiting Cedar City again.
