Also don’t forget that 7-6 in 2006 where Rice beat SMU in the season finale to extend the Ponies‘ bowl drought.

2014 8-5

2-0 vs MWC in bowl games

Top twenty academics all day all night

Note - see this correction in the previous post:

They've done this:

(Rice) has done this in football:

2014..........8-5
2013........10-4
2012..........7-6
2008........10-3
2006..........7-6

That’s twice the 10-win seasons and the same number of bowl wins as little ol’ SMU.

If SMU would *try* a little harder they *might* be able to keep up

You need to step up your trolling game. What you are doing might me acceptable for CUSA, where you belong, but not for the AAC

Thanks!
It just goes to show that us privates stick together, but up in University Park maybe someone is a little shy about measuring up.

SMU will still get to enjoy one more year of being the top academic AAC school in Texas. I doubt they get to ten wins in mens football this year though.

The Owls are 41-48-1 against SMU. It's not like they're significantly better over history.

Also, 20-15-1 over Tulane. 8-10-1 against Tulsa. We're where we belong.

What counts is not grades as many ranking organizations use. It's results.

When the UKTimes listed the "World's top 100 universities for producing millionaires" only 4 Texas universities were included:

UT
TAM
SMU
UH

I am surprised TCU is not on that list.

Great. Now our conference will be known as the one with small privates.
