could it possibly happen? could we actually get a at large bid to the tourny. Or just another NIT invite. And what tourny would be happier to be in?

Yall most likely clinched a NCAA birth by beating Alabama. 19-9 (8-8 SEC) is hard to turn down.

LSU is in
Auburn is in

Bama will either be a 12 seed or head for the NIT... high RPI...but you can't take a team to the NCAA that finished below Auburn and LSU

I would imagine that it's rough. But, sorry to say...I don't see it clearing up anytime soon.

It's going to take a loooooooong time for UGA basketball to come back from this.

To be honest i haven't heard any rumors. But i promise Mark Richt isn't doing anything that violates any NCAA rules.

Richt is a sharp enough coach and has such a sound base, he shouldn't need to cheat to get more than his fair share of blue chip athletes.

BTW: Is this the GA board or the LSU board?

I agree. Since we own the state of Georgia in recruiting now we don't need any unfair advantage to help us.

Ok back to LSU.

I'm probably one of the only Ole Miss Alumni that there is that actually likes LSU. But I want us to beat them - always.

I know that it's hard to believe....I had some cajun friends when I was younger, I've had some wonderful experiences down there, etc. I really do like South Louisiana. I do despise LSUjoe but then again, I don't like everybody from Mississippi.

RX, I'm still and will always be 100% Rebel - it's just a character flaw, I guess.  03-wink There must be some other school that you pull for when they aren't playing the Rebels.

yes, but it's Florida...not the silly kitty cats. Of course, if I didn't have a scar from one of the drunk Cajuns, I might like them a little better myself
