Nice to get UD and Villanova at home during the same season.

If there isn’t at least 7 wins come the end of the season, some discussions need to be had.

I wonder if we'll have enough info to sorta figure out how the CAA plans on making their schedule going forward, like are there any little pods or anything?

Also, love the bye right in the middle of the season. I hate when teams have a bye in like week 3, doesn't seem like the rest is as useful then.

I assume the asterisks indicate CAA games, but I didn’t think Hampton was coming aboard until 2023 (as a favor to the Big South, to preserve numbers for playoff eligibility.) Did I miss something? Am I misremembering?

Nice to have a Family weekend back. Overall, a very nice schedule.

On the pod question, Im quite sure we have UR, Elon, Hampton and Towson on the every year plan. I would like to think Delaware and Villanova would be annual as well. I could see NC A&T replacing Towson for us once they come aboard.

NC A&T coming in for 2023 but Hampton and Monmouth announced early they were in for this season.

Recent schedules have essentially started with two losses baked in. Not the case this year.

As favorable as it can get regarding travel costs.

Huh? Lafayette and Towson are not day trips and I'm sure the team will fly to Stony Brook which is an 8+ hour drive on a good day. Team typically flies into Central Islip by charter. Still a good year for travel.

First part was about me. Day trips for me.

I didn’t think the team would fly vs an 8 hr drive. 8 hrs doesn’t seem like a long drive to me.

Traffic! Once played at Hofstra and took 18 hours on return trip. Getting up I-95 and across Long Island on a Friday is a dicey proposition. The 8 is not the problem... it's the +.

The Charlotte game was moved from Thursday September 1 to Friday September 2. Charlotte now plays its first game on August 27, which precipitated the move.

I like Friday night better, so it works for me.
