Will we be in the CBI?

I didn't really have a problem with the field except for Michigan. Who gives a crap about their strength of schedule when thy lose darn near half their games.

I thought UK got an easy draw and Yukon is grossly overseeded.

At least they had the good sense to toss X in the shredder where they deserve.

Got a 2-seed. Dayton 1-seed in the same part of the bracket, unable to host their first game due to hosting the First Four so they're relegated to a road game in Toledo. Unfortunate for the Flyers.

Major programs don’t play in them anymore. Honestly wish to see the NIT go 64 with same regional format as the NCAA.

We weren't even close to sniffing an NIT bid.

Our current KenPom ranking is 101. There were a handful of teams with KenPom rankings in the 60s that didn't get invited to the NIT.

We gotta accept that we weren't worthy of meaningful postseason basketball and move on.

We gotta accept that we weren't worthy of meaningful postseason basketball and move on.

The NIT is not meaningful postseason basketball. 68 teams is plenty. There’s no need for the rest of it

Too make the NIT as an at large you basically need to be around the bubble going into championship week or within striking distance. Average year there is somewhere around 18 to 24 at large bids. It’s not easy to make if your not close sniffing to the NCAA tournament.

I disagree. Playing in the NIT can serve as a great stepping stone for a rebuilding program.

Many programs have parlayed NIT runs into future NCAA tournament success.

It would've been a meaningful experience for this group of players and coaching staff.

There are always teams in the NIT that are better than many of the teams in the NCAA. But the automatic league bids negate that.
