And, while we are speculating about job vacancies that aren't even there... Another option probably more in our price range is VA Tech assistant Mike Jones. Long time successful DeMatha head coach that played collegiately during my time at ODU. IMO, he is a good coach and his DC area ties would be fantastic for recruiting.

All of these coaches of William & Mary past would be fine coaches, but I'm pretty sure most of them are out of our pay range. Curious where they all are after next season when it may or may not matter.

I fear this as well. If some had other D1 offers they seriously considered, what do they really have to gain staying here, frankly? I mean, next year doesn't look good, and then we (presumably) fire the coach and rebuild again. What ambitious 19/20 year old wants their college career to go down like that? On the other hand, with the stats they have put up who knows if they have many options to transfer to...

Well, one thing to gain from staying here is a W&M degree.
