Our NET will be 35. There isn't a scenario invented or imagined where we are not in.
Stranger Things have happened.
My scenario: SMU wins the AAC tourney, which are on folks Last Four In ... then would Memphis get left off?
What do you mean? What is stranger? Simple question. Has NET 35 ever been left out?

Defeatist attitude.
I'm not the most positive person here but I never think like that.

If we are a 9 seed...
No way 1 loss drops us to outside a 12 seed.

Some of you didn't read my entire post. It clearly articulates a current at-large not winning their conference tournament and someone else winning it, but the team that loses still gets in - because they are an at-large ... as of now, I think A10 is the only conference with that scenario. Do folks concur or no ... don't blend my posts with js3went ...

Even with that Scenario...If we are a 9 see that means we are ahead of 11 teams right now...Even a couple of bid stealers...We aren't going to fall 10 spots with 1 loss. Right now there are 11 teams between us and getting left out and some of them are going to lose as well.
Maybe we aren't a 9 seed...But I am going by the pics posted here.

lol ... lets just chalk this thread up as, majority say we will get in. Others are questioning the actual seeding we will get, which is neither here or there.
Moving on!

I think Xavier and wake losing today loosens the leash a bit. Win quarters we are 100% in.
Lose quarters I think we are probably in but very likely playing in Dayton

RE: Lunardi Bracketology 3/8
Our resume, depending on how things play out, suggest a 9-11 seed. Our talent and how we’ve played the last month and a half looks around a 4-7.
No matter how it plays out seeding wise, preparing for this team in 48 hours is going to be a task for any team.

I would love to get a 6 seed. In 1992 we had a great tourney run as a 6 seed and made the elite eight.

RE: Lunardi Bracketology 3/8
With Murray St winning, there arent many "easy" bid steals left. (An easy one is where the conference only has one good team who's a lock, and they lose, guaranteeing a 2nd team.) The A10 has davidson, but if they lose they may not make it in anyway.
The MWC and MVC are multi bid conferences that are soft enough and have teams just outside of the at-larges capable of getting thru. Those would be the most likely candidates.
Other than that, all of the major conferences are somewhat unlikely to see a bid steal. Maybe the Big East. But for the most part, there's just too many great teams for a bid stealer to get thru. The B12 is practically sending everyone not named WVU and Kansas St, and those two teams have to play each other in the first game.
So probably 1 or 2 bid steals at the very most this year. We could see none.

No one should think the committee will not be looking for any reason to exclude Memphis. I also don't like the 9 seed with Gonzaga in the second game. Of course when we beat them the road to the final four will be much better.
