However, I am perplexed that the world's main superpower, in the midst of a European crisis unprecedented in decades, now AGAIN sends the cackling whore of a VP as the US representative to try to mitigate the situation and bring some sort of peace out of the Ukrainian conflict. Add to this disaster, Blinken is joining her, the mastermind architect of the Afghanistan withdrawal. Add to the Mayor Pete has earned a major role in this response as well.

We are not sending our best and brightest. Serious events require serious people that seriously engage. These folks are clowns and have proven so on smaller stages. When worldwide war, potentially nuclear, is a distinct possibility, why in the hell is the most powerful country in the world sending political appointees of no pedigree, experience, or even work-ethic to try to resolve the problem?

President Biden is the adult in the room, no President since HW Bush can claim anywhere near his foreign policy experience. Like HW Bush did with Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, Biden has assembled an impressive coalition to oppose Russian aggression. It's a show of respect for our allies and their concerns to send the Vice President & Secretary of State at a time like this instead of the Undersecretary of State for European Affairs.

Biden has never been the adult in the room. He’s a bafoon on his best days.
