There is always a chance that some underclass folks could transfer out, although they would be advised to see how it didn’t work out that well for the five who chose not to come to Rice this year (Wiggins doesn’t even start for SMU anymore).

If Austin, Jackson and Fisher return (and the others), Rice could easily be back in the NCAAs next year again.

McCurry will be moving on, per Rice WBB Instagram post.

No loss whatsoever.

Come on, Walt. Nobody ever knows what players contribute off the court. For all we know, she could've been the veteran leader that kept the team together when we were struggling in December and January. Sure, she didn't pan out as a player. But it's a bit harsh to say she's not a loss whatsoever.

I assume we have 12 total scholarships for WBB since 5 new players are coming in next year?.

I guess Stover is coming back for an injury/redshirt/COVID year? If so, we're at 14 players and the limit. If not, then we have one available spot. Either way, considering Edmonds's philosophy so far, I imagine the roster will be this year's plus the incoming 5. Don't really see her tapping into the transfer portal if Stover isn't back.

Yes, she is supposed to be back. 15 scholarships in women’s hoops so we have 1 available. Edmonds is going to try to get a transfer from what I understand. But we will see how that works out.

Does anyone have an extra ticket to tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) vs. UTSA?

Please PM me if you do. Thanks.
