Big win tonight, let’s follow it up on Saturday against FIU. My crew will be there rolling twelve deep.

Just finished watching. It’s fun but they shot the ball worse than we do on an average night in the second half. We played pretty good but plenty of mistakes as well. When we can move the ball and get good passes inside the offense looks good. Some good dishes were served tonight. I’ll take it, Go Monarch’s!

I think our defense had a little to do with it, but that was a piss poor shooting demonstration from FAU. Credit to ODU for taking advantage though. Kalu has really improved his mid range shot. I hear he has been working on it. Once again Keyser takes a bunch of really questionable shots. But I guess I can live with it because he makes some of them. Just wish he would cut back on some of the circus shots. And Smith again shooting contested threes but passing up open shots. I just don't understand that. I dont know what to make of Oliver. Gets fouled on a three and then proceeds to miss all three FTs. Then has a great 2nd half. Some nice passing but I wish we would stop trying to force passes that aren't there. Defense was really great for most of the game. What is it that makes these guys click? I wish they would figure it out so they could apply it to the remaining games.

Forgot to mention that I liked that the halftime show was a contest involving students where they can win money. It looked like a fun game and the winner was pumped. I think they announced a $1,000 prize. I like that they are investing in the students rather than paying for entertainment.

People might think I'm crazy, but I watched FAU last night and thought, "Man, I love their offensive system." Sure, they made us look like the Warriors last night, but they got some good looks.

They ran a lot of good sets. We played pretty good defense but they simply missed a lot of shots as well.

Cant figure out this team, we play an average game (lots of turnovers) with bad games from Keyser, Hunter, and Essien, make 29% of 3s, and blow out a pretty good FAU team. Just too inconsistent.

We could win the CUSA tourney or lose by 20 in the first round.

They got a ton of good looks but missed a lot of shots. Hence the difference in score. Had those shots fall like they did in the first matchup against them ...they beat us at home. While I think they are an OK team this win needs to be put in perspective...They are on now on a 5 game losing streak.

We will need to win 4 straight games (at least) to win the CUSA Tournament. We haven't won 4 games in any month this season. Not happening in March.

Hate to be negative, but we are what we are. Not good.

Oh well, at least we won for a change, so I'll take it.

Do I expect them to...no. Do I think we are a good team...no. But, we do have the talent to beat any team in the conference when they play the right way. And are perfectly capable of not playing the right way and losing to the worst team.

We need to stay in that 5 seed spot in the East. I don't want to fall to 6 and play another game + the opposite 3.
