In football thats just the rosters and staffs combined. Thats about right!

Except when Toledo comes to DeKalb, it is a sellout because everybody is excited to see 4 consecutive #1 recruiting classes play the Huskies.

You’ll be disappointed this year since we’ll come in at # 4...
Gonna need some new material !! 04-cheers

I won't believe it! Toledo will always have the #1 recruiting class in my heart.
I can't afford new material, I don't have a day job.

Not many companies hiring grads from NIU, huh? 05-stirthepot

I've been holding out for a job as a hot dog vendor at the Glass Bowl.

Good commits for NIU. Nutter has been around, got kicked off the team as a frosh at St Peters, blew up in juco and still has 3 years of eligibility. Widely recruited and per the article I read sounds mature despite his previous issue at St Peters. NIU badly needed a plug and play wing to play alongside Williams. Youngblood is actually Japanese although I think his dad is African American. came to the states for prep school and just got a Colorado St offer last week which is a good sign. a little about him on this article

Thanks for sharing your insights and the link. I didn't look too much into the players.

Insert "cheesy" joke/metaphor for the type of defense he plays.

Yeah, so far we have seven incoming players. Curious about who is leaving NIU since it doesn't seem possible that we have seven available scholarships.

Incoming Players:

Yazid Powell - G - JUCO - Will be a junior
David Coit - G - JUCO - Will be a sophomore
Zarique Nutter - G - JUCO - Will be a sophomore
Martice Mitchell - F/C - Transfer - Was supposed to be on our roster last year and unknown if he will join this season
Taku Youngblood - G -HS
Xavier Amos - F - HS
Yanic Niederhäuser - F/C - HS

Yeah Toledo keeps making offers and the only way that works is if someone is leaving.

Could see 3 leaving, maybe 4.

RE: MBB April Signing Period
3 UT bench players-Saunder, Hill and Arnor Eopporsen enter the portal-pretty much as expected. Saunders is graduating and has 2 years eligibility remaining and will have D1 options, but kind of hit a rut in his development at UT and was probably gonna get passed up by younger guys on the depth chart. Hill was often injured and not much of a contributor, the Icelandic kid never played.

UT in the mix for a D2 all-american grad transfer from Michigan Tech and probably 1 more HS signee. Unclear if unsigned verbal Cooper Davis from OH is still likely.
