Huskies are 4-9 in conference and Akron is 9-5. In order to make an appearance in Cleveland the Huskies need to get to a minimum 8-12. That means they need to win 4 of their last seven. They will not beat Ohio and they will not sweep Buffalo. That means they need to beat Miami and EMU. Then pick up two wins against akron, ksu,
and or buf (2).

In prior game we stopped Ali but forgot to guard Freeman (21pts, 13 rebs). STATS were fairly even so it would be nice if Makoi and Okano play good complete games on defense and contribute on offense.

Here's da hope. Akron is on a 2 game losing streak and they just lost to WMU. Who loses to WMU? WMU is the team we point to and say 'well, at least we aren't as bad as them'.
More hope. We lost to BSU by 7 at home and beat them on the road. We only lost by 6 to Akron at home.
Do we actually play better on the road! We beat KSU on the road and they just rolled Toledo!
We are 13 point dogs? We should cover.

Kaleb Thornton is a turnover machine at point guard. Zips hitting 3’s so for the Huskies to have any chance they need to stay within a couple of however many Akron make.

Didn't get to see or listen to this game. Assume we inbounded the ball sufficiently for a miracle win even though Huskies hit only four three-point shots while Akron nailed five.

Nice win. Looking forward to the game this Saturday.
