Not quite the same. You have a contract in the military to serve a specific number of years. When I was in the Army.....if you tried to leave and break that contract is was called AWOL and there were serious consequences.

Exactly, we have NO idea, but I doubt it is because he didnt like the direction of the team. Hopefully, he just decided he needed to focus on his studies, or something. He was NEVER expected to be an impactful member of the team.

He’s benefitted from Duke and Virginia opting out of the ACC tourney last year. Yeah we really want and need him back here with his personal matters and face shields
