Pool released a video this morning with more details. It also seems like this event made the wrong people mad and they have been assured they WILL find out who did it.
This is a felony with apparently up to 20 years in prison.
His video leads with an article saying the Portland police basically gave false reports that the Proud Boys were arming up to attack CHAZ hoping it would scare away the antifo-ites.
Well, instead they armed themselves and killed a teenager.
One of my Youtube friends got swatted herself. some sicko made a call on this senior citizen lady for the same crap. Anybody could be a target of this no matter what side of the aisle that you are on.
He also mentioned that just the night before they had a sitting member of congress in the studio. They've recently had a gubernatorial candidate. They also have celebrities.
This could end up turning our very bad for whoever pulled the stunt.

Kind of ironic, huh?
Yea.
And he somehow missed the double homicide that took place.
People have done gone section 8 insane. Who the F***
Would pull a stunt like this? This is how we get innocent folks killed.
Maybe that was the idea?!?
Geeeeeeeezzzz
Which is why it can up to a 20 year prison sentence.
When I was a kid our prank calls were calling up the butcher and asking if he had pigs feet. When he said yes we asked him what kind of shoes he wears.
Times have changed a bit since then.

…..or “Do you have Prince Albert in a can” (pipe tobacco). - “well, let him out”
I'm not really a Tim Pool fan but I do listen to his podcast occasionally. A former leftist, he has slowly moved right as the left gets more extreme. But he too often talks out of both sides of his mouth, probably because he has a really lucrative gig going. How else could he afford a big house for his office and employees. He rides the fence and won't say certain things because he will get de-monetized or even booted from YouTube. I also think he talks out of both sides of his mouth because he has had a hard time leaving his leftism behind. He does have on interesting guests though.
He is just wrong, IMO about police going into his house in that swat deal. He may feel it is wrong, but what if it was NOT a false swat call and somebody had come in and killed some of his employees and the caller had the details wrong? He wants protection but not the police. Good luck with that. Police have an obligation to make sure when they get a call like that.
I look at him as that skateboarder kid who has discovered politics and loves to talk about it and the issues. A lot of people really like and respect him but make no mistake - he's doing this as a moneymaker and is quite successful at it. Good for him and it sucks that he got swatted. Somebody doesn't like what he is putting out.

I share your thought about Tim. He isn't quite there yet. I do credit his move across the political spectrum to the adage:
If you're 20 and not a liberal you don't have a heart.
If you're 40 and not a conservative you don't have a brain.
That said, I semi-understand his point.
Just because someone says something happened doesn't mean it happened.
This is like saying I could see an office sitting in his patrol car and tell him I saw that man across the street beat and sexually assault a woman 15 minutes ago.
Should my accusation actually suspend that guy's constitutional rights simply on my say so?
I also understand the duty of police to protect those who may be suffering harm.
I used to be much more supportive of government. In 2001 I agreed with W that you're either for us or against us. If you haven't done anything wrong you have nothing to hide.
As time has passed I began to realize unfortunately the government at all levels, local, state and federal, is full of corrupt people. While there are good people involved, such as plenty of good people who are cops, it doesn't matter if the system itself has been corrupted.
Even though I support the police I do not support corrupt policies that allow the police carte blanche.
I trust city and county commissioners, state reps, and federal reps even less.
So, the police do not have a right to enter my property unless they have a constitutionally valid warrant. But they can forgo that process as long as somebody lies about me.
What would prevent a corrupt department from submitting the false complaint itself -- or simply saying they received a complaint -- in order to side-step the constitution?
Don't forget, Pool's video talking about the swatting event began with a story about Portland police running false claims in order to get Antifa to react in a certain way. Antifa's reaction was not what the police planned and a kid lost his life.
Was it ok that the police lied?
And what made the police think they could lie?
Here's an example of Dr. Bret Weinstein changing his thoughts about trust in government (starting at 20:03 through 21:44) due to what he's seen...
