I think C-USA should do like the Southland did and hold every conference championship in Lake Charles, La. It sure beats having it in Ruston.

Louisiana Tech is not "on par" with Southern Miss has a baseball program historically. USM has been consistently good and has been a regular in the NCAA Tournament. Tech has had a couple decent years of late and made a couple regionals

That would be like Southern Miss claiming they are on par with Alabama because they beat them once.

You know, other schools might not understand it, but of all the fantastic things that happened in Cajun Nation this year, hosting the CCG, and all the kudos we got from App fans for hosting is the hardest thing for them to take. And is at the core of why they hate us so much: pure jealousy.

While our town is one the best places in the country for food, fun and hospitality, Ruston is…..not so much, lol. Dude we are preseason ranked 15. It’s all about where u are and not where you have been. As Janet has said. “What have you done for me lately” your football program barely gets mentioned on any stage anymore. And I for one think that is sad. If USM could have showed a pulse it could have really helped the conference but instead it’s all Judys fault. I know you think the fans will enjoy the regional rivalries and that’s at least a plus for your fans. But you have been losing to Sun Belt teams for the last three years. You have to at some point put a better product on the field or you will bring down the Belt as well.

Once again it’s not butt hurt. I don’t blame the Belt for swooping in and seizing the opportunity. It’s the AAC that destroyed the conference. But what you don’t realize is is this is the new CUSA and LaTech and the other 8 have to build it into a strong conference and so many on this board want to see it fail. It won’t fail. And in time may surpass the Belt. It has stronger football and less also rans. We didn’t pick up weak programs. USM enjoy the belt. It’s what you wanted. But it won’t miraculously make you a good football or basketball team. You have to do that.

The saddest thing is C-DOA will bring all the rest of the G5 down in a months time.

Where do you think the G5 is now. It can’t go anymore down. It’s the same exact teams with a weakened AAC.
