You got to enjoy free food. We got an email that they will be processing refunds on Monday. We got your text right after we left on the subway, so the postponement cost us $4 on the subway and the travel time.

One of our posters was in the middle of driving from Long Island, so I think your complaint is pretty silly.

yeah you should relax with the tape of your win over penn state in football. i listened to that after climbing mount fuji.

we drove about 2 hours from mechanicsburg with our two kids and got turned away while we were eating at the liacorus center. turned out to be a great day actually. my son loves trains and we hadn't been on the subway in a while. admittedly that's not the safest activity right now but aside from the homeless person coughing a bit without a mask...we were ok. trains weren't too crowded.

Just a very odd comment.

Hey by the way….was is just me or was north Philly even dirtier than I remember? There was trash everywhere. Really sad to see. I don’t know how a politician could drive through there and not be like “man we have to clean this up for these people”. Overall infrastructure improvement has to come eventually too but let’s just start with picking up trash.

No need to start another thread on this. But as expected La Salle game is "postponed". But we all know that it's cancelled.

I went to grad school at Drexel. My colleague, a Drexel grad, was killed in a hit and run near campus. Save me the bull****.

FWIW he never said anything about Drexel being some magical place. We are well aware you dont have to go very far from campus to be in some sketchy areas. Hell, just go down chestnut or market street in the direction away from center city a few blocks. And calling for improvement, isnt that a good thing?

Perhaps you need to relax, step away from this thread and enjoy the season.

RE: Game #11 @Temple
yeah...wow. i'm a little worried about this guy to be honest. i wasn't even talking about temple specifically. the campus was fine.

i was reading an article from philly magazine about the delays in trash pickup. they were fining people when it wasn't their fault the trash never got picked up. it sounds like a mess. i just worry about the condition the city is in. crime is a separate issue. i'm about 2 hours away i don't always have my ear on the issues that are coming up.

I think it's time to take on my first duty as Admin and close this thread since we've gotten so far away from discussing Saturday's Temple game that didn't happen.
