Sorry, don't believe it. Kentucky football would be a step down for him. The guy was at Alabama; he's not gonna go back to the SEC for the Kentucky job!

Unless UTEP is playing at Kentucky next season! Then you'd be right!

If he wants to completely destroy his career, Price will go to Kentucky. The last coach who won there was Bear Bryant.

Price has something good going at UTEP. He would be a fool to throw it all away to become the head football coach at the next to worst program in the SEC.

Miner fans: pay no attention to this clown. He's been peddling this rumor for MONTHS. However, everytime he's asked to provide a link to a credible source he can't. He's just some jealous troll. Ignore him. In fact, he could easily be a TCU fan trying to create friction on this board by posing as a USM fan.

I think he's a troll too. Maybe a UNM or NMSU fan.

Why would anyone sane want the Kentucky job?

I like having Oleary and Price in this league and would like to see both of them around for awhile. I don't know if Mike originated carrying the pick ax into the stadium, but I really like it. UCF under Oleary may be the best coached team Memphis has faced in a few years.

I seriously doubt that Mike Price is a friend of Nucleus and has been feeding him exclusive inside information that he intends to leave UTEP. Nucleus has about as much credibility as the National Enquirer.

I strongly disagree with that statement...Nucleus has FAR LESS credibility than the National Enquirer.

Correct, Kentucky is a Career Killer. Now if Price was a BBall coach and Smith was leaving this might have some validity to it. No way does Price kill his career and end up somewhere like LA Monroe 8-10 yrs from now.

The last 4 coaches that have been there are 61-109. Thats an avg of 4 wins per season.

Troll. We had the Tommy West is going to Kentucky thread back in pre-season. Supposedly already a signed deal just very hush-hush.

Is that you 3601?

Wow, I trust you know your stuff about Price, aww shucks , we really like him here at UTEP. Your awesome, telling us this way before anybody with any type of credibility did. I hope Kentucky treats him well, he is a very good coach and by the sound of it, he must really love those biscuits, I personally like Popeyes mash potatoes, those are divine. Thanks for the info you are great noclues 04-bow
