As much as I loathed Tubby, he would've had us in the Tournament a couple of times by now if he would've stayed. And after getting to the Tournament he would probably have been able to get some of the best Memphis kids.

When would he have done that? With the team full of kids with D2 offers he was going to field after fielding the worst Memphis team in the modern era? The one that got curb stomped by a sub 275 (sub 300 at the time) team?

Tubby would've had the Tigers in the Tournament? With the team he compiled? Sorry. I don't follow. He had his chances to get his teams to the Tournament. How'd that turn out?

You think Emoni was the problem? How about staring Earl then barely playing him the 2nd half…. Or running a 5’10” backcourt (one of home is posting zero across the board) with a team raining threes… or sitting your best big when you desperately need a push the last 6 mins.. or having your best rebounding guard buried on the bench when you are getting mauled on the boards in the 2nd half.
