Loserana isn’t as good as their record indicates either. Sure, they beat App State twice, give them credit. But the only other team they played with even a remote pulse was Texas, and they got curbstomped. Look at how close they scraped by some vastly inferior teams. If you all bring it, you will win.

We’re all excited that Marshall and ODU are coming, but Every fan knows we could’ve improved the SBC further by trading Lafayette Branch for La Tech.

That's bullshite and you know it. You outnumbered MT, but not 15 or 20 to 1. Puhlease.

Some one is butt hurt, show me where the Cajuns touched you. Also looking forward to this game good luck the the herd. FYI if you play on going to the game look up the restrictions in NOLA before you go because that city blows.

RE: Marshall vs ULL New Orleans Bowl
Louisiana has been insulted two years running now.

Last year, a ranked, 9-1 Louisiana was paired up with 7-4 UTSA. They weren't happy and I didn't blame them one bit. But it's even worse this year. This year, they're ranked again, 12-1 this time, and are paired up with 7-5 Marshall. It's basically a home game for them since it's in New Orleans, but damn.

Last year they played a UTSA team without our head coach and 3 other assistant coaches, and this year they'll be the one without their head coach (though I believe all the other coaches will be there). So there's also a bit of irony.

But seriously, I'm sure their team and fan base want better than what they've been getting.

Apparently some ULL fans/students were spitting on the App. St. support staff and players during the SBC game.

Feel like the bowl tie ins wi be really changing soon, to reflect the new conference pecking order. The belt will have good bowls as the #1 or #2 G5 league.

Needs to happen. There's a clear discrepancy in the g5. Only five P5 opponents across the entire G5 when we had multiple ranked G5 teams is unacceptable.

I don't think Louisiana should be playing Marshall, so I get the frustration.

I want the best G5 teams to take down the p5. I see that the American has four P5 matchups outside of the playoffs. You know that's changing soon.

It would be nice to set up the New Orleans Bowl against the bottom SEC or ACC.

Ultimately though, in this new era, it looks like conferences are not going to have the traditional tie-ins, considering ESPN moves all these chess pieces around at will.

I liked the days when you knew your cusa Champion would be playing an SEC team. However, it looks like those days are over.

RE: Marshall vs ULL New Orleans Bowl
These were the only P5 matchups...

7-5 Oregon State
6-6 Florida
6-6 Auburn
6-6 Boston College
6-6 Virginia

So this begs to question, would your team and your program rather play a 6-6 P5, or a ranked G5 champion?

I think if the Independence Bowl had Louisiana or UTSA play BYU, that fixes a lot of the discrepancy.

We always get worked up on where we will play in the bowls, but in reality, the early season out of conference slate generally provide us the best opportunity for P5 or select premier matchups...

I dont think any Louisiana fans are upset about playing Marshall. We also love playing in the NOLA Bowl. We were hoping to maybe get a shot at a P5 in a bowl.
Also glad Covid Carolina poster Flyrty Dyrtle is here to dumb down the place.
And that laturd poster, what bowl game yall got?

Look forward to seeing Marshall in NOLA!

Spitting > Taunting
Spitting on another person is simple assault. Only a ULL fan would think taunting is worse than spitting on someone. Plus the fact we're living in Covid times makes this behavior double disgusting.

Who should they play? They were beat down by the only P5 team on their schedule, a crappy Texas team. At least UTSA beat the P5 team on their schedule.

One example is students behaving terribly and they are being dealt with.

The other is an official rep of the school who exhibited terrible behavior to a school who had no control over loosing their FB program, and just because they couldn’t hanker losing a fair and square game. And your officials prob rewarded them, if they did anything at all.

But hey: we’re still curious as to tell us what bowl game ltu is going to this year?
