Arkansas holds a narrow lead after day 1 of the NCAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks have 19 points, followed by Nebraska with 16, and Auburn with 14.

HIGHS: Alistair Cragg easily won the 5000m, breaking the NCAA record by over 8 seconds. Michael Thomas finished 4th in the 60m hurdles, surpassing the point total McDonnell asked of him.

LOWS: DMR relay team lost lap count and finished 9th, receiving 0 pts. when McDonnell was expecting 6 pts out of them. Race is MUCH closer now, with that and the fact Lincoln finished 6th in the 5000...when we needed him in the top 4.

BIG EVENTS TODAY:
3000m (Cragg, Lincoln, and Kimeli MUST come through)
1500m (Mulvaney won the pre-lims..winning the final would help)
Triple Jump (need pts. from Richard Smith and Maurice Robinson)
800m (Robbie Stevens needs to place to help us out)

Here's hoping we get nat'l track title #37 tonight
