All NIU does is pump out great young coaches. I was in the same Freshman class as both Thomas Hammock and PJ Fleck. Great to see former classmates succeeding at the highest levels!

Whoa! That's amazing. Campus and games must have been so much fun back then. I was there 06-11. Games were very much lively and everyone went. I caught the tailend of Garrett Wolfe and the career of Larry English.

It was right as NIU football was starting to turn the corner from being doormats to winning a few games. Near the tail end of Novak’s career. Game environment was great. Packed stands. Was in attendance when we knocked off Maryland.

Haha. Nope, but I had a roommate who was a walk on running back at the time that Hammock was a freshman. Had a little bit of access, but was never a player.

I had assumed Uremovich got named as interim for Temple and some people were really happy for him
