The methods for eradicating the abusive haven't changed. Only the will to do something about it has changed. If snake oil killed people in the town they hanged the snake oil salesman. If people were sickened it was tar and feathers. In the 1870's law was decided in the town and by its people. In the 2020's law in the town is superseded by State political hacks answering to national political hacks. In the 1870's the local newspaper covered the hanging. Now organized protestors on the media would herald the snake oil salesman and a hero, curse the dead as co-conspirators, and lynch the citizens. Why? They had a 70% share in snake oil and the state pension plan was a main investor.

Why is COVID the only illness I can think of where the powers that be don’t want doctors to treat patients unless they get so sick they end up in the hospital? It would be like stepping on a rusty nail and your doctor telling you to go home and wait to see what happens.

The only reason I can think of is they want the vaccine to be the only thing potentially between you and a ventilator. Why? Because they want every man, woman and child to take the vaccine. Again, why?
