Stat Geek is right. For Robbie to improve his pro prospects, he will need to get more time defensively. Even with all the turnover, there isn't too much time to be shared in the outfield with Trujillo and Wheels coming back, some of the younger guys getting put into the rotation and the guys they are looking to add. It makes sense for him to go somewhere he can play everyday and perhaps get a chance at another NCAA tournament trip. I wish him well. He was a good Monarch.

Yes. Based on a conversation had this morning, I'm confident both will be back. There is at least one other I expect to transfer but he played sparingly this last season.

Hope what you heard turns out to be the case. I'd like to see them hold onto as much of a returning lineup as possible from the players that played significant innings last season. If better players join the team and move into the starting lineup ahead of them, that would be a good thing.

D1Baseball is doing their Top 100 programs again (every two years while skipping Covid year).
I don't know where they put us in 2015, 2017, or 2019 but so far I don't see us in the 71-100 range. Looks like they are dropping 10 per day.
