Figured some on this board might be interested in this game.

Both teams seem to be on their 5th string Quarterback or so. Should be a fun one still as its been a rivalry game.

Tech fans on the CUSA board said the crowd would be bad due to LHSAA playoffs. Works for us, we just need a win somehow, some way.

I said it.. I'd like a victory instead of two moral victories back to back. Will has to figure out how to win. I understand he's taking applications on anyone that threw a football in the last 3 weeks, but he's gotta figure it out and hopefully after next week he's recruiting some QBs.

He inherited a mostly JUCO/FCS roster thanks to Hop's and Paulie G's recruiting efforts. We only traveled 62 players to UTSA. There should be 33 new scholarship players on campus by next fall camp (with signing class and transfers) as well as some dead weight being moved on. That's already started.

Hop didn't do us any favors. I feel like that's why he resigned, he saw all his talent last year at the USA game and realized he was gonna be fired for the product he put out since all of Monk's guys were gone.

I'm behind Hall. I'd like it if he stole some recruits from the big guys.

Reasons to Hate LA Tech.

1. Just because they exist.
2. Ruston smells.
3. They put tomatoes in their gumbo.
4. Tech is a glorified Community College.
5. They sell bottled Pepsi products in their stadium.

Never forget. We own them. Even in our worst decade.

Just looked at the roster.. Holy cow..

Most of the players were straight outta HS.

If we're getting HS players why are we not recruiting out of Bassfield, Oak Grove, or South Panola.

We need to target MGCC more for some of their guys finishing up. Check at Co Lin and see if they got any guys that were sent down from MSU or Auburn to get their grades up and see if we can snag those guys.

Why are we targeting private school HS players? Don't get me wrong there's some athletes, but I always perceived public schools had better athletes especially at the 3A-5A level.

Don't get your hopes up too high. When USM released it weekly depth chart on Wednesday morning it was missing the QB position and it wasn't an oversite. We are going into tonight's game without a designated QB slot

Paulie G was literally offering 500+ players across the nation each year scholarships by letter, nearly all sight unseen. After Hop ran out of Monken players by 2019, the gig was up.

Coke over Pepsi. But I can't hate if you like the opposite. I mean mountain dew is a good alternative.

Game starts in about 10 minutes. Should be run heavy with so many of the quarterbacks out for both teams.
