This game for next weekend deserves a week long thread. Future CUSA member Liberty against the Sunbelts premier team this year. It’s no secret that UL fans have continued to bash CUSA and this game could set a tone for the new future between the two conferences.

Depends which LU team shows up but I’m banking on a win.

Good matchup between 2 good teams.

My instinct is that Liberty has the edge based on home-field. But we’ll see.

LU has not been good this year, especially the offensive line. But I do like LU because A) they are coming off a bye and B), Louisiana has home field in the Sun Belt championship game sowed up, so I think that is their focus a bit more than this game.

It’s unfortunate that the students will be on break. They bring a huge amount of energy to the stadium. I’ve watched every Liberty game and 2 Louisiana games and I think Liberty should be favored going into this game. Liberty should be a little healthier after the bye week. Let’s get the conference smack talk going. ?

Then you don’t know who Billy Napier, his staff, or the UL team are.

Should be a good game, but if Louisiana loses it won’t be because of a lack of focus.

Liberty hasn't lost at home in years. I think Louisiana might have the edge on a neutral field, but at home, I think LU is favored.

Looks like Liberty is favored by 3.5.
