When will we see a UNT baseball program? For twenty years we've been hearing that UNT will build a new stadium and bring back baseball. Yet, with the explosion of new facilities, we have not seen a new stadium. What is the status of baseball at UNT? Any firm plans? Y'all are in a recruiting hotbed in the Metroplex. With a new stadium and AAC membership, you guys could build a strong program and challenge TCU and DBU.

In an oversight by the AAC, they did not demand them to start a baseball program.

Who have you been hearing from for twenty years that NT is starting a baseball program?

Apparently, La Tech (the usual fans that question NT's baseball status) are much more concerned than NT fans are about adding baseball.

It has always been a very borderline objective of NT. Never a firm date and always nothing more than a possible future endeavor

It will occur at some point, but it has never been a priority. At this time, a new athletic office expansion is the objective

Than I assume that baseball versus a new basketball court (I don't think it is needed ) will likely candidates for projects. Major donors will likely decide what comes first.

It works out that we don't have baseball as we come in to the AAC since our travel partner at SMU also doesn't have baseball. That's said, we are all ready for UNT to have baseball. I desperately want it before my son graduates high school. I dont want to see him dream about playing somewhere else.

We won't start a baseball program until UNT has a premier football program in the American. Football is the highest priority.
