What would you like to see, and why?

No. It takes away from the advantage of tight divisional geography, regional nonconference rivalries, and, let's face it, money games. Southern Miss needs 4 nonconference games. 1 money game, an in-state SWAC buy game (big home draw), and a regional nonconference home & home like La Tech, Tulane, Memphis, or MS State. I'm sure all of you have similar needs.

I really don’t want to go years without seeing everyone in the conference. Get rid of divisions, play 8 conference games with 3 or 4 protected rivals, and have everyone on the schedule in a 3 year span. Keep the conference familiar with each other.

Best 2 at the end of the year play in the CCG, which we could now put that in Montgomery if we wanted it a neutral site, but highest seed probably works best.

No. 8 games to allow for 4 OOC games. I don’t mind playing 6 division teams and only 2 cross division games because it likely guarantees us the championship game isn’t a rematch.

Only if we strictly eliminated FCS games to achieve it. But we need all the OOC opportunities we can get. Our collective conference SOS isn’t strong enough to forego chances to beat peer institutions.
