2 million per school. 10 year deal. Coverage will increase to roughly match AAC

No word if we’re doing a GOR

Most of this came from Ben Moore so consider the source

Who is Ben Moore? Is he legit? Is this legit? The exposure is probably more important than the money to be honest.

Is he normally reliable? Wasn't sure how to take the "consider the source" part of original post. Was that, take it to the bank cause he is legit, or take it with a grain of salt because of past experiences?

Have heard 1.2 to 1.3 Mill per school - but it might get muddied because of accounting methods and production costs.

RE: TV deal
Guys, 2 million isn't that good if the AAC will still get 4.5 or so. I thought it would be alot closer. Maybe the AAC will get cut to 3, but that's a long way off.

Ben Moore covers GSU. He may have some insight, but is not known for breaking news.

If we were getting $1.3 per school with 10 schools and adding 4 and upping to $2m, its decent improvement regardless.

More importantly would be the additional exposure. AAC deal will adjusted down when they lose more teams and or their current deal is up.

RE: TV deal
Getting 2M and equal coverage to AAC is pretty dang good.
ESPN will try to push the AAC to the top, already invested a lot to not try. 2.5M would've been just fine with only one midweek home game. But any increase in money and coverage is great.

RE: TV deal
New CUSA members getting 2.2 mil each so if true this roughly puts us the same. Older CUSA members were kept at about 6 mil each. Both deals for 10 years

RE: TV deal
IIRC, $2 million is what the new AAC members were going to get from TV (the rest of them are getting $7 million).

The AAC might've had to match what the SBC was going to get.

If true then this is SO awesome, and even more proof that Marshall had better not screw this up.

How much was the last one? If we’re trying to be on par with the AAC (who if I’m not mistaken are still going to get 7ish mill per old school a year) we need more than that
