I don’t think anything is a given we are on a high in maybe hosting a conference championship game, if App St, Louisiana get to cocky and don’t take one game at a time they will lose!

Georgia Southern on any given Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday etc has a chance to beat App St. Same goes for Ark St. and Louisiana.

I feel like I need to keep reminding people that two of our wins were by 3pts against Nicholls St. thanks to an INT retuned for a TD, and 2pts against South Al after a missed FG. I also need to remind people that our current FG kicker struggles to even make an extra point.

Given the way our year has gone, we’ll either lose by 3 or win by 38.

This game actually was on the precursor of ESPN+ (In fact I think that was what they called the “extra channels” on satellite back in the day) but I have never been able to find a copy of it. This coaches film is as close as I could find (and this was more than likely the old school early 90s Panasonic or JVC vhs camcorders)

I expect to get rolled but I’m taking off work early and driving 2 hours to try to help convince this team they are better than they are get after it.

I feel you can throw out the records for this game. State always scares me it's a rivalry game either team can win it. Like someone said earlier we can lose by 3 or win by 38 neither would surprise me. Lots of distractions for Cajun fans hope the team isn't listening.

Trust me when I tell you, there is no game on our schedule that Louisiana fans look past. Our team tends to play up/down to their opponent. While I hope we break that streak tonight, I already have butterflies.
