Exactly right. This is still up for a vote by AAC ADs

Procedural only. The vote has already happened, the schools being asked to send the application have support or they wouldn’t have been asked. That’s the way these things work, you don’t embarrass a school by essentially inviting them and then tell them no.

The only way it gets kicked up now is if FAU puts in their former application their desire to change their school name to Robert E Lee University and rename their teams the Fightin’ Whites.
