It appears they didn't want to leave any Texas schools for the MWC. With USM moving to the SBC, that leaves C-USA with seven schools, including UTEP out on an island.

What does Marshall do now, move to the SBC with USM or try to rebuild in the C-USA East with WKU and ODU by adding JMU and Liberty? Also available would be NMSU as a travel partner for UTEP and Missouri State from FCS.
