With the exception of the LA/stAte game, these are some tough ones.

Coastal at App
It's hard to pick against Coastal. With the exception of Buffalo, they have blown everyone out. I watched one of their games this year and it's hard to pick against that offense. But, I'll go with App by 3 at the Rock.

Louisiana at Arkansas State
Louisiana by 23. State will score some points but the Cajuns should have little problem against their defense.

Texas St at Georgia St
I'll go with the home team by 7, but the Bobcats are improving.

South at ULM
Depends on which South team shows up and which ULM team does the same. South by 2 on a last second field goal off the left upright.

All I know is its Louisiana. If the team hates to lose to them as bad as a lot of our fans I hope they would play better smarter than they have all year. Of course we have a new coaching staff and a lot of new players that don't get the stAte-Louisiana thing.

It's hard when you hate a team like those obnoxious Cajuns but you know they're going to plow through the defense and score any time they want.

Troy isn't the only team that has struggled in Monroe... here are the 3 previous meetings in Monroe:

Having ULM bounce back from a 0-10 season to go to a bowl game in Year 1 of Coach Bowden's tenure would be AMAZING for ULM but also the Sun Belt. It would prove that a good coach and come in and win in this league. Parity isn't necessarily present at the moment but a league that has any team good enough to win becomes leagues that are way more enjoyable to watch.

The new Big XII will be exciting for that very reason. Any one team can win it in any given year....except for Kansas...
