2022 Tailgate Notes:

• If you commit to bring food, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the published meal time. If your food item needs to be cooked or reheated, please arrive early enough to ensure it would be ready at the published meal time

• For 2022, we assistance with setting up and taking down the tailgating area each week.

• A $10 per person donation is requested for anyone that can't bring food/drinks/items for the tailgate.

• Donations would be appreciated to help us offset weekly expenses.

Mrs DD and I will be there and will bring potato salad and cole slaw + banana puddling

I'll be there and will bring chips. Coming from Louisiana this year.

I’m in plus DMBlazer and I also have two more guests. I’ll determine a food item later

I'll have the burgers, buns, cokes, water, paper towels, utensils, plates & the like I normally do, I think blazerjay has some from previous seasons. If you bring the onions, slice them really thin for those that want an OK style smash burger on the griddle. I won't have grill this game to grill anything, I'll be bringing the breakfast griddle of mine so make sure it's cooked before you come if it needs to be. Maybe a couple of extra bags of ice for the coolers from someone.

I'm in plus one. I'll bring some chips and a bag of ice.

Tickets and tailgate passes should be mailed today. Should have em in a week or so. Will get with Jeff and Jeff and Paul to deliver the tailgate passes when I get em.

I will be there and I will bring a pound cake and some cookies to nibble before dinner.

Man the closer we get the more pumped I am. I think I am on a Steve Irvine High or something lol

Weather is looking fairly good at this point

My brother & his wife will be coming as well I assume not sure if they'll have extras - not sure what they'll bring but will talk to them this weekend - so I'll be at least a +2.

I can bring trash bags and Lysol wipes. Just curious, I am a 29 year old student in my senior year so if anyone has an extra ticket and I can sit with a family/adults I would love to sit with you since the student section is nearly a decade younger than me so I don't have any UAB students as friends. You can let me know how much it costs and I can do cash or Venmo. The section I tried where most of you sit is sold out. If not that is fine I can find a place alone or free with the student section.
Also, in case you have seen the UAB highlight reels or the feature video on Bill Clark in Save UAB Football circulating around that was me! That's why my name is UABVideoGal on here!

FYI - Blazer Gameday just posted that tailgate lots aren't opening until 3pm. That's pretty frustrating.

No freaking way. My tailgate crew has been planning the season out for weeks/months and they had all the time in the world to tell us that this was the case. We've known since at least February that this game was happening on a Thursday and would be a night game.

We already paid full price for 5 games last year, and now they are cutting into our home opener tailgate time by 33%?
