I have no idea where he lands but it's an interesting final five. Three SEC schools; how does a top Kentucky kid not choose UK? Unless UK has whispered to him it has other guards higher on its list. Also, in state, WKU has some tradition and is closest to home for family and friends. But Western is certainly a second tier in terms of exposure and resources among the four P5 programs in that group.
I don't follow any particular recruiting experts. Are there any "crystal ball" predictions two days before he announces?
Upthread I posted a crystal ball to UC. I saw yesterday there's another crystal ball to UC. That would have to put us close to a top 10 class.
Oh, thanks for that update. After posting, I did a quick search on his name and saw a couple of crystal ball predictions for UK. Maybe those were old. Regardless, I guess we'll know soon. As UCONN has proven (repeatedly), you can never have enough great guards.

I saw that too, hopefully the UC crystal balls are correct.

Curious now if Wes stands pat with the Tylers or if he tries to grab any other high school player in the class. My gut says the former, especially with Aziz and Reynolds' status still up in the air and the fact that he can probably get better bang for his buck filling any open slot with a transfer.

I think that's a good take on all this. If Perry is riding the bench at UK he may still be a Bearcat after year one. The portal has resulted in wild unpredictability on where players finish their collegiate careers. I would never have guessed Wildcat C.J. to morph into Bearcat C.J. This is a Brave New World.

I've been living in NW Ohio for over a decade now, and have some friends that are Ottawa-Glandorf faithful, have watched him play a few times. He is a solid D1 prospect, would have enjoyed seeing him in the red and black, but the B10 is so dominant around here, no worries about losing that one.
With Holtmann out do we get a second look?

On the belief we can never have enough quality guards I certainly hope he re-opens his recruitment and considers Big 12 basketball in Cincy.
