OT: MEAC to Launch 'Countdown To Kickoff' Program, FAMU with New ESPN+ DocuSeries
"The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will make history on Saturday, Oct. 16, when it airs the only on-site, conference-produced football preview show in FCS, televised live on ESPN+, a 60-minute show tabbed MEAC Countdown to Kickoff, Presented by Coca-Cola. The pre-game shows will be broadcast from the campuses of MEAC institutions prior to the featured game of the week. The hour-long format will feature information on the history of the participating institutions, current events, updates from around the conference, interviews with coaches, student-athletes, directors of athletics, presidents and chancellors and alumni and news and analysis about the day’s featured game. MEAC Countdown to Kickoff will premiere at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 on the campus of South Carolina State, when it hosts MEAC foe Morgan State."

"Florida A&M Athletics announced Wednesday that FAMU Football will be the subject of a new, eight-episode docu-series executive produced by NBA All-Star Chris Paul and produced by ESPN+, Roadside Entertainment, and Paul’s Ohh Dip!!! Productions. Why Not Us: FAMU Football will chronicle the 2021 Florida A&M football team and head coach Willie Simmons from the start of fall camp through the end of the season. The first episode will premiere Thursday, Oct. 14, exclusively on ESPN+."

I would have to imagine their kickoff show won't be to the production level of Gameday or SEC's but I admire the fortitude and would love to see the Conference try something

It seems the next "craze" is teams producing their own docuseries for ESPN+

It’s marketing. If you have something interesting to show, put it out there and get your name out there. It’s all about marketing, done correctly and it will get attention and help put butts in the stands and in the classrooms.
