Remember when ODU had their first ever top 25 ranking, that lasted for 1 week. I have a feeling the same will happen for UTSA in football. But 1 week in the top 25 is better than none

Sooner or later the Western defense will figure out how to get off the field on 3rd down and especially 3rd and 7+

If not Western wont be playing in that 2nd game and if they are it means they figured it out. In that case I dont think UTSA can out score the Western offense.

They are too far out for one more game to do it. If they win the next two they will be right there for both.

I actually think we need to win the next three before they'll put us in there. Not sure we can do that. WKU will be tough. Lots of things can happen in that one. Pretty sure we can handle Rice at home. But then we've gotta go to Ruston. We're 0-5 against LA Tech in Ruston.

You can look at that Ruston stat in two ways. You can say they own us there, which they definitely have, and that they'll likely win again. Or you can say we're due for one there. They have a helluva team this year though, and will be coming off a bye when they host us, so it'll be difficult to say the least.

Been to Ruston for about two or three of those five games there so far. Might go again this year. Speaking personally, I can only say good things about your fan base from my previous visits btw.
