We have two weeks to heal up for Tulsa. During that time, we should get back 3 of our secondary and a few others.

I actually think there’s a chance for us to win 6 games.

Put the pipe down.

I understand why you feel that way, bu I see a lot telling me we are heading in the right direction. If we don’t win 3 out of 4, I’ll come back here and admit I was wrong… but I am pretty certain we will.

The biggest difference between this year SMU and seasons past is depth at all positions. It has allowed this team to close out games and the difference has been most notable in the play of both lines in the late third and fourth quarters. They wear the opposition down. It’s huge.
It’s a combo of both the transfer portal and freshmen.

Our DB’s are heavily freshman. We ran the ball well without the potential conference POY today.

Lot of speed and talent on the field for USF - bright future. Scott is no Morris.

I don’t know about 3 out of next four. We are not a good or consistent team. But I think one and maybe two is probable. Now if we lose all four the heat will be on and Scott will have to change coaches probably on the defense side.

We had speed and talent under Morris. What we lacked was depth in the trenches and in the secondary. SMU has perhaps the toughest November in the AAC. FOR the first time I feel like there is a fighting chance.

USF lacks talent and depth specially on defense front lines. Yesterday was the first time that I saw our line putting some pressure on QB

We put a ton of pressure on BYU. We also lost three defensive players after that game. We were literally more injured and thinner last night.

I still feel good about winning 3 out of the next four. Tulsa we will beat. Temple will be a toss up, but I think we finally see the team put together a full four quarters. After getting some momentum, we can take ECU but their athleticism will challenge us. I am concerned about us being banged up at this point and we drop one to Houston.

USF is waiting until after Home-Comming to announce the OCS. I think they should announce it next Monday. You know after a week where we didn't lose.

Yeah, I said it.

Regardless of how the rest of the season goes, without looking at next year's schedule, USF is primed to move up with that QB under center. Youth, injuries and a helluva OOC has hurt them so far.
Enjoy the rise up next year. Ya'll are primed to improve.
