How the hell does that flag get picked up? What a freaking joke. That's pitiful

Sorry I am watching at a BW3 in Utah, so can’t hear what is going on.
How did a flag for rushing the passer or targeting result in 3rd and 10?
Shouldn’t that be a automatic first down?

Some how the refs picked up the flag and said no call.

Got picked up by the Refs.

Pretty much what I expected. Freeman has us pegged. Defense is going to have to win this one.

QB's are supposed to get protection from shots like that! Especially from the defender's helmet. Color me surprised! Even the ref in the NBC studio said that was a foul!

There was a WIDE OPEN underneath route going with the roll out on that last pass that half of our section could see. Des looks like he's just locking in on Read #1 a la 2019...not great.

Getting Notre Dame'd by the refs already. Beavers would've been thrown out for that hit

I saw that too. The LB may have been blocking his vision a bit but Pierce definitely seemed open.

Gonna have to get some kind of push for the run.
Negative yards rushing so far.

Oline is getting no push on run plays so far.

I hate to say it but it was under thrown. Pierce had his man beat by two steps and had to wait on the ball giving the defender a chance to close the gap.
