We won’t win 5 games this year but one of them will be against ECU.

Does Tune ever check off receivers?
Are your backup QBs so bad that you have to stay with Tune?

Good game Houston.
Dana flipped the script for the second half.
Good luck the rest of the way.

to be down to Navy by 10 points is a hell of a defensive effort for the way we were playing and how long they were on the field out there.
i wouldn't put this on Holgs if we had lost since it was the players that were dropping passses and full of miscues and bad decisions.
im glad to get out with a win and see improvement in tune. good game navy.
also...in no way in hell would i ever want briles in any part of our program.
don't get me wrong his offense is amazing but it is so gimmicky and comes at the cost of a defense. there are two sides of a football and we need both of them.

Totally disagree. The Briles O is the best in CFB. When Art won the conference back in the day we were able to kill clock with it.
The job of the O is to score points. If the O does not score points then it is a bad O.
D’nofrio’s D was on the field FOREVER because of his bend AND break style. He let everyone catch passes in front with big cushions. Eventually, we got worn down.
Until we hired the guy our D forced more turnovers in the last decade than any FBS team. We c9mpletely lost our identity on D.
The O was awesome. Just stop the other team a few times and you are likely to win. D’nofrio could not do that. The people blamed the O? Ludicrous.

That’s kinda what I think. The “worn down defense” phrase is often a really nice way of saying a “weak defense collapsed”. What teally wears a defense down is not being able to get off the field on third downs. An average or better defense should be just fine when paired with the Briles offense (or any other explosive hurry up offense). Just get off the field on third down and your defense won’t get worn down. Look, statistically, a Briles defense will be below average because it has to defend more possessions per game—but if the defense is average or better at getting off the field on third down—the team is going to win a lot of games.

Bridles offense is a gimmick. Put up points? Yeah. Your team will just plain sk. There are few times when it is an exemption but it will overall be garbage. Many examples to choose from. We just have to disagree.
