I'd say from now on, White doesn't need to play third downs. or change his number to 5.

Oh, nothing against him personally. I'm just thinking of ways not to violate the rules in the future. And it was pretty obvious to me WHY it happened. State just failed on 3rd down, but they were not showing punt. Their offense was hanging around like they were gonna go for it on 4th. By the time their punter came on, all we had time to do was switch out a linebacker for Calvin. They forced us into a split second decision.

As I now think about it, the ref should have run up to their center and held them for 10 seconds so we could change personnel. I don't remember if he did that or not.
