It's ok if you don't understand it.

No worries. I do.

Fidelity did a study a few years ago and the retirement accounts that performed the best were ones that the owners forgot about.

My guess is, your long term return is far better than folks who are trying to time buys and sells.

I would agree with this for the most part.

Just based on the name, I would imagine that's what we would call a "**** coin".

RE: OT: What Are You Currently Investing In?
Back in 2010, I was in college helping a guy on this app he’d made. My job was to find products we could use for giveaways to get people to download other apps, who would pay us to get their app in the top 10. Apple since changed policies and you aren’t allowed to do this anymore, but back then, fair game. So one day, he asks me if I’d be interested in some Bitcoin as payment. I chose GameStop Gift Cards. I didn’t think anything would ever happen with BC. I made easily over $200 in GS cards from this little side project of a few minutes a week. Convert that to $200 in Bitcoin at May 2010’s price and see how sick I feel.

Crypto is sensitive to the broader equity markets. An example of this is the pandemic market crash last year when it was down around $5,000.

With the money inflows $5000 might be more like $25,000 in the future. $25,000 is a 62% correction from Bitcoins all time high.

I prefer crypto scalps over buy and holds. Buy and hold is stressful when the market is down. Use the charts for when to enter and leave the market. Sometimes you can't time an exit point and you wait for another cycle but that is better than having no plan to get out of a trade.

RE: OT: What Are You Currently Investing In?
Several years ago, Warren Buffet bet some of the top fund managers he could invest in an S&P fund with low management fees and beat their funds. At the end of the bet Buffet's investment in the S&P indexed fund beat them all. So I have some investments in in S&P 100 and S&P 500 funds, some in corporate bonds (not bond funds), a little money in a few Chinese companies, a lots of blue chip stocks. I don't keep more than 5% in any single investment all though I do try to maintain the 80/20 balance between bonds and equity.

Wow. His own business, an Ivy League acceptance, and a $1 Million+ portfolio all while still a teenager.

Makes me even more hopeful. Thanks for sharing.

See my post and where the market is today.

In stablecoin at the moment until selloff bottoms out.
